This pix of a Blue Racket Tailed Roller bird was the inspiration for this makeup look:

made a really simple look for this bird, really only had to use two eye shadow colors, Tiffany Blue and Bronzey Brown.

I applied the Tiffany Blue eye shadow to the whole of the eyelid from inner corner to outer corner. On the creases of the eye I applied Bronzey Brown eye shadow, blending it just a little in to the outer corner of the eye. To finish the look I applied a very light Bronze eyeshadow to the bottom lid. Black eyeliner on the water line and outer corner of top and bottom of the eyes.

This is the bird of my inspiration today the Green Violetear Hummingbird:

As you can see what I was really focused on was the spot in the middle of the birds breast. So on the middle of  the eyelid I applied a Blue-Green eye shadow and around the Blue-Green eyeshadow I applied a Purple eye shadow like the one on the birds neck. Finally on the outer corner of the eye I applied a Dark Blue-Purple eye shadow.

This is an old look that I never posted, it was going to be part of my Beautiful Bird Series. Used a couple different colors, this look is good for Summer, Mardi Gras or just for fun.

On the inner corner of the eyes I used a Yellow eyeshadow, a Green eyeshadow on the outer half . In the creases of the eyes I used a Bronzy Brown and darkened the outer corner with a dark Brown smokey out the eye. On the bottom of the eyes I used a creamy eyeshadow to lighting the eye, and purple in the outer corner to blended the top and bottom lids.
